The Dangers of a Society Without Truth

When the masses are uncertain about truth, the very foundation of a society becomes unstable and ultimately, dangerous. Truth is the guiding force that allows people to make informed decisions, hold leaders accountable, and build a functioning society. Without it - confusion, manipulation, and chaos ensue. In such an environment misinformation spreads like a hurricane wildfire, leading to a rapid breakdown in trust, the rise of violent extremism, and the erosion of democracy itself. A nation that cannot distinguish fact from fiction risks falling into corruption, social unrest, and authoritarian rule. The end result of this convergences of forces is always death, as democracies (and their people) die in darkness.
